Driving Momentum Across the Middle East & Southeast Asia: A Year of Breakthroughs for WWT International

Over the past year, WWT International has continued to build meaningful momentum across the Middle East and Southeast Asia, two regions that remain central to our growth and long-term vision.

One of our most significant achievements has been the steady, reliable support we provide to operators in Qatar, home to the world’s largest natural gas development. Our consistent performance there reflects not only the capability of our tools and engineering teams, but also the trust placed in us by some of the region’s most influential energy stakeholders.

Across the Middle East, that trust continues to grow. We are proud to be supporting a range of operators as they push for safer, more efficient, and more technically advanced well construction. Each project strengthens our commitment to delivering value where it matters most - at the wellsite.

Southeast Asia has likewise been a source of major progress. After more than two years of determination, including countless meetings, online engagements, and multiple trips to Balikpapan, we achieved a breakthrough with the Indonesian National Oil Company. The initial trial in their swamps development field delivered results that exceeded expectations, leading quickly to a long-term commitment for a multi-well program. Just as importantly, it opened doors to our client’s offshore and onshore teams, setting the stage for deeper collaboration.

Our work with other operators in Vietnam, Thailand, and the wider region continues to gain traction as well. These are markets where innovative, field-proven technologies can make a meaningful difference and where WWT’s value is clearly resonating.

On the technology front, we’re preparing for the first deployment of our Casing While Drilling Protector, a tool engineered to reduce friction and improve efficiency in CwD operations. The Kuwait National Oil Company will conduct the initial trial in December 2025 and a successful result is expected to open the door to broader, more consistent deployment across their drilling programs.

In the UAE, a National Oil Company’s onshore new technologies team has selected our JetReam Guide Shoe for testing and technical approval. Pending successful verification, JetReam will be incorporated into their onshore’s line items and deployed across its extensive land rig fleet, a significant milestone for our presence in the region.

2025 is shaping up to be a year defined by progress, partnerships, and purposeful innovation. We are incredibly proud of our teams on the ground and grateful to our partners across the Middle East and Southeast Asia for their continued confidence in WWT International.

The momentum is real and we’re just getting started.
