WWT FlexShoe (FLX) Improves Drilling Efficiency in Deviated Wells

WWT International has developed the WWT FlexShoe™ (FLX), an innovative tool designed to guide casing past the challenging deviations encountered in extended reach drilling, horizontal wells and deepwater operations.

Strong, flexible and drillable, this breakthrough product enables the lead end of casing to traverse both planned and unplanned wellbore profile changes and ledges, while allowing cement to be pumped through the tool.  Its unique coupling design allows transition from the rigid casing to the WWT FlexShoe™ while keeping stresses low.  It easily interfaces with various connections, float collars and other casing running equipment. The tool is designed to save rig time and reduce risk when running casing for deepwater operations, extended reach drilling and horizontal wells.
